Do I get a designed resume, or just plain text?
Both. The Resume tab gives you a plain-text version, which is the safest format for online application portals. The Visual resume tab renders the same content into a designed, single-column layout (Modern or Classic template) with a Print / Save PDF button - great for referrals, networking, and printed copies. Both stay single-column on purpose: multi-column 'pretty' resumes can confuse real ATS parsers.
How does the ATS keyword match actually work?
Paste the real job posting into the app. It extracts the posting's meaningful keywords and checks which ones already appear in your skills, achievements, and education, then shows you a match score and a list of what is missing so you can honestly decide what to add.
Do I need to be technical to turn on AI mode?
No. The included one-command deploy script sets up the optional Cloudflare Worker proxy for you - you answer two prompts and paste the link it gives you into the app. No coding or command-line experience required.
